The STA L81 is the consistent further development of our proven model STA PT 1600. Since its introduction in 1986, the STA PT 1600 has established itself as a powerful and versatile device for simultaneous thermal analysis. In 2015, it received an extensive facelift that modernized both the technology and the design. The next development step took place in 2024: the STA L81 combines the strengths of its predecessor with a revised housing, new electronics and extended functions for even greater precision and ease of use.

The new name is part of our company-wide introduction of a uniform, clearly structured product nomenclature. The aim of this change is to simplify the selection of the right measuring device and to present our product families more clearly. The designation STA L81 stands for a modern appearance, technological innovation and the continuous optimization of our devices.
