The LFA L52 is the consistent further development of our proven model LFA 1000. For many years, the LFA 1000 has established itself as a high-performance device for laser flash analysis in research and industry. It enables the precise determination of thermophysical properties over a particularly wide temperature range. In 2021, it received a technical and optical facelift to further optimize measurement accuracy, stability and ease of use. The next big step was taken in 2025: the LFA L52 combines the proven technology of its predecessor with a modernized housing, new electronics and additional functions for even more precise, faster and more user-friendly measurements.

The new name is part of our company-wide introduction of a clearly structured product nomenclature. The aim is to make it easier for you to select the right device and to make our product families clearer. The designation LFA L52 stands for state-of-the-art technology, continuous innovation and maximum precision in laser flash analysis.
