The DSC L63 is the consistent further development of our proven model DSC PT 1000 – and can look back on an exceptionally long success story. It was first launched in 1971 as the DSC PT 10 and set standards in differential scanning calorimetry at an early stage. With the first major facelift in 2014, it not only received a technical and visual update, but also the new name DSC PT 1000. The next stage of development followed in 2024: the DSC L63 presents itself with a modernized housing, optimized electronics and extended functions for even more precise and efficient measurements.

The new name is part of our company-wide introduction of a clearly structured product nomenclature. The aim is to make our device families clearer and simplify the selection of the right system for your requirements. The designation DSC L63 stands for tradition, further development and state-of-the-art technology.

With the DSC L63 you get the proven technology of the DSC PT 1000 – and previously the DSC PT 10 – in its most modern form. The result: maximum accuracy, improved user-friendliness and a long service life for reliable measurements over many years.
