The TGA L83 is the consistent further development of our proven model TGA PT 1000. Its history goes back to 1957, when the first generation of devices came onto the market. Since then, it has established itself worldwide in research and industry as a reliable system for thermogravimetric analysis. In 2015, the TGA PT 1000 received a technical and visual facelift to further optimize precision and ease of use. The next development step was taken in 2024: the TGA L83 combines the strengths of its predecessor with a modernized housing, new electronics and additional functions for even more precise measurement results and easier handling.

The new name is part of our company-wide introduction of a clearly structured product nomenclature. Our aim is to make it even easier to select the right measuring device and to present our product families more clearly. The designation TGA L83 stands for technological innovation, continuity and maximum user-friendliness.
