The TGA L81 is the logical further development of our proven model TGA PT 1600. The device was first introduced back in 1957 and has since established itself as a reliable and precise measuring system for thermogravimetric analysis. In 2015, the TGA PT 1600 received a comprehensive facelift in which the technology and design were modernized. The next major development step followed in 2024: the TGA L81 combines the proven technology of its predecessor with a modernized housing, new electronics and extended functions to further increase precision, stability and user-friendliness.

The new name is part of our company-wide introduction of a uniform, clearly structured product nomenclature. The aim of this change is to simplify the selection of the right measuring device and to present our product families more clearly. The designation TGA L81 not only stands for a modern appearance, but also for continuous technical development.
