polistiren (XPS) gibi \u00e7e\u015fitli formlarda gelen \u015feffaf, sert ve k\u0131r\u0131lgan bir malzemedir. Polistiren ambalaj, yal\u0131t\u0131m, kaplar ve di\u011fer g\u00fcnl\u00fck \u00fcr\u00fcnlerde yayg\u0131n olarak kullan\u0131lmaktad\u0131r.<br>Su ge\u00e7irmez, kimyasal olarak inert ve asitlere ve bazlara kar\u015f\u0131 diren\u00e7lidir, ancak organik \u00e7\u00f6z\u00fcc\u00fclere kar\u015f\u0131 hassast\u0131r. D\u00fczenli bir yap\u0131ya sahip olan izotaktik polistiren 240 \u00b0C civar\u0131nda bir <g id=\"gid_1\">erime noktas\u0131na<\/g> sahipken, yine d\u00fczenli bir yap\u0131ya sahip olan sindiyotaktik polistiren 270 \u00b0C civar\u0131nda biraz daha y\u00fcksek bir erime <g id=\"gid_2\">noktas\u0131na<\/g> sahiptir. Kal\u0131plara ince detaylarla d\u00f6k\u00fclebilir ve \u015feffaf veya farkl\u0131 renklerde yap\u0131labilir. Ekonomiktir ve plastik model kitleri, plaka \u00e7er\u00e7eveleri, plastik \u00e7atal b\u0131\u00e7ak tak\u0131mlar\u0131, CD &#8220;m\u00fccevher&#8221; kutular\u0131, model yap\u0131m\u0131nda, plaklar i\u00e7in alternatif bir malzeme olarak ve olduk\u00e7a sert, ekonomik bir plasti\u011fin istendi\u011fi di\u011fer bir\u00e7ok nesnenin \u00fcretiminde kullan\u0131l\u0131r.  <\/p><p>Polistiren kat\u0131 veya k\u00f6p\u00fck formunda olabilir. Genel polistiren berrak, sert ve k\u0131r\u0131lgand\u0131r. Birim a\u011f\u0131rl\u0131k ba\u015f\u0131na ucuz bir re\u00e7inedir ve nispeten d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck bir <strong>erime noktas\u0131na<\/strong> sahiptir.
