Bu toksik olmayan, alev geciktirici s\u0131v\u0131, 200\u00b0C ve 5 bar gibi \u0131l\u0131ml\u0131 ko\u015fullarda bir rodyum kataliz\u00f6r\u00fc ile hidrojeni emebilir. Ortaya \u00e7\u0131kan peroksi-DBT, bir litre s\u0131v\u0131 ba\u015f\u0131na 600 litre gaz hidrojen depolamaktad\u0131r ki bu da 2 kWh\/kg gibi etkileyici bir depolama kapasitesine kar\u015f\u0131l\u0131k gelmektedir. Serbest b\u0131rakma 300\u00b0C&#8217;de ve d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck bas\u0131n\u00e7ta ger\u00e7ekle\u015fir.
