pol\u00edmeros. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/pt-pt\/applikationen\/polimeros\/\"><strong>pol\u00edmeros<\/strong><\/a> de modo a adaptar de forma flex\u00edvel as propriedades do material aos requisitos da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o. As incompatibilidades ou separa\u00e7\u00f5es de fase nestas misturas representam um dos desafios mais frequentes, uma vez que t\u00eam uma influ\u00eancia significativa nas propriedades mec\u00e2nicas e t\u00e9rmicas do produto final. Esta separa\u00e7\u00e3o resulta frequentemente na degrada\u00e7\u00e3o das propriedades mec\u00e2nicas, como a redu\u00e7\u00e3o da resist\u00eancia ao impacto e da tenacidade da mistura, e pode ser um mecanismo de falha cr\u00edtico, particularmente em aplica\u00e7\u00f5es de engenharia. Os efeitos variam desde defeitos vis\u00edveis na superf\u00edcie at\u00e9 \u00e0 falha completa do material em condi\u00e7\u00f5es de funcionamento.  <\/p><p>A compatibilidade de dois pol\u00edmeros determina a sua miscibilidade: as misturas compat\u00edveis apresentam uma fase homog\u00e9nea com propriedades uniformes; os sistemas incompat\u00edveis, por outro lado, tendem a segregar-se e a formar dom\u00ednios separados. Esta separa\u00e7\u00e3o de fases pode ocorrer tanto a n\u00edvel macrosc\u00f3pico como nanosc\u00f3pico, sendo que este \u00faltimo, muitas vezes, s\u00f3 se torna aparente atrav\u00e9s de m\u00e9todos anal\u00edticos especializados. <\/p><p>A miscibilidade termodin\u00e2mica \u00e9 descrita pela energia de mistura de Gibbs:<br>$$<br>\\Delta G_{\\mathrm{mix}} = \\Delta H_{\\mathrm{mix}} &#8211; T\\,\\Delta S_{\\mathrm{mix}}<br>$$<br>Para uma mistura espont\u00e2nea, \u0394G_mix tem de ser negativo. Nas misturas de pol\u00edmeros, o termo de entropia (T\u0394S_mix) \u00e9 normalmente baixo devido \u00e0s mol\u00e9culas de cadeia longa, o que significa que a entalpia da mistura (\u0394H_mix) \u00e9 o fator decisivo. O par\u00e2metro de intera\u00e7\u00e3o Flory-Huggins \u03c7 quantifica estas intera\u00e7\u00f5es e permite fazer previs\u00f5es sobre a estabilidade das fases. Valores de \u03c7 &lt; 0,5 indicam compatibilidade, enquanto valores mais elevados favorecem a separa\u00e7\u00e3o de fases.   <\/p><p>A temperatura cr\u00edtica abaixo da qual ocorre a separa\u00e7\u00e3o de fases pode ser determinada experimentalmente e \u00e9 essencial para a defini\u00e7\u00e3o das temperaturas de processamento e das \u00e1reas de aplica\u00e7\u00e3o. Os n\u00edveis de energia das fases fornecem um quadro te\u00f3rico relevante para estimar a miscibilidade e foram estabelecidos para descrever e modelar a separa\u00e7\u00e3o de fases na pr\u00e1tica. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ac9afd3 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"ac9afd3\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1b982d6 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"1b982d6\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">DSC\/DTA como chave metodol\u00f3gica para a pr\u00e1tica laboratorial<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-a4a32ba elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"a4a32ba\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-5df331d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"5df331d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Ao selecionar misturas de pol\u00edmeros para compatibilidade, a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/pt-pt\/equipamentos\/dta-diferenca-termoanalise\/\"><strong>an\u00e1lise t\u00e9rmica diferencial (DTA)<\/strong><\/a> \u00e9 um m\u00e9todo vers\u00e1til e de f\u00e1cil utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o. A DTA mede as diferen\u00e7as de temperatura entre a amostra e a refer\u00eancia em condi\u00e7\u00f5es de temperatura controlada e \u00e9, por isso, ideal para detetar eventos t\u00e9rmicos, tais como <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/pt-pt\/conhecimentos\/temperatura-de-transicao-vitrea\/\"><strong>transi\u00e7\u00f5es v\u00edtreas<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/pt-pt\/conhecimentos\/cristalizacao-e-recristalizacao-de-polimeros\/\"><strong>cristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o<\/strong><\/a> cristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o ou <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/pt-pt\/conhecimentos\/transicao-de-fase-de-uma-substancia-fusao\/\"><strong>processos de fus\u00e3o<\/strong><\/a>. <\/p><p>A DTA utiliza uma diferen\u00e7a de temperatura mensur\u00e1vel (\u0394T = T_probe &#8211; T_reference) que ocorre no material durante o tratamento t\u00e9rmico como resultado de processos endot\u00e9rmicos ou exot\u00e9rmicos. A aplica\u00e7\u00e3o pr\u00e1tica requer um controlo preciso dos par\u00e2metros experimentais: As taxas de aquecimento t\u00edpicas situam-se entre 5 e 20 K\/min e a quantidade de amostra entre 5-20 mg, o que faz da DTA um m\u00e9todo de an\u00e1lise suave para o material. Uma atmosfera de g\u00e1s inerte evita a degrada\u00e7\u00e3o oxidativa das amostras de pol\u00edmero.  <\/p><p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/pt-pt\/equipamentos\/dsc-calorimetria-de-varrimento-diferencial\/\"><strong>calorimetria diferencial de varrimento<\/strong><\/a> (DSC, <em>Calorimetria Explorat\u00f3ria Diferencial<\/em>) \u00e9 um desenvolvimento posterior da DTA e \u00e9 o m\u00e9todo de an\u00e1lise t\u00e9rmica mais utilizado atualmente na an\u00e1lise de pol\u00edmeros. Enquanto a DTA mede apenas as diferen\u00e7as de temperatura entre a amostra e a refer\u00eancia, a DSC mede tamb\u00e9m o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/pt-pt\/variaveis-medidas\/fluxo-de-calor\/\"><strong>fluxo de calor associado<\/strong><\/a> (em mW ou mJ\/s) &#8211; por conseguinte, fornece n\u00e3o s\u00f3 informa\u00e7\u00e3o qualitativa, mas tamb\u00e9m quantitativa sobre eventos t\u00e9rmicos. Dependendo da conce\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e9 feita uma distin\u00e7\u00e3o entre DSC de fluxo de calor e DSC de compensa\u00e7\u00e3o de pot\u00eancia: No DSC de fluxo de calor, a amostra e a refer\u00eancia s\u00e3o aquecidas numa c\u00e2mara de forno comum e a diferen\u00e7a de temperatura \u00e9 convertida num fluxo de calor atrav\u00e9s de uma resist\u00eancia t\u00e9rmica calibrada; no DSC de compensa\u00e7\u00e3o de pot\u00eancia, por outro lado, ambas s\u00e3o mantidas \u00e0 mesma temperatura em micro-telas separadas, de modo a que a diferen\u00e7a de pot\u00eancia fornecida represente diretamente o fluxo de calor. Os par\u00e2metros de medi\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00edpicos correspondem em grande parte aos da DTA: taxas de aquecimento de 5-20 K\/min e quantidades de amostra de 5-20 mg s\u00e3o comuns, sendo que a DSC tamb\u00e9m detecta de forma fi\u00e1vel eventos t\u00e9rmicos mais fracos &#8211; como transi\u00e7\u00f5es v\u00edtreas pouco pronunciadas em misturas de pol\u00edmeros &#8211; devido \u00e0 sua maior resolu\u00e7\u00e3o de fluxo de calor.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-636a704 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"636a704\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3122b84 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"3122b84\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Dete\u00e7\u00e3o precoce de separa\u00e7\u00e3o de fases por DTA<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-bead9d0 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"bead9d0\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-e7813c8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"e7813c8\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A an\u00e1lise t\u00e9rmica diferencial \u00e9 particularmente valiosa para a dete\u00e7\u00e3o precoce da separa\u00e7\u00e3o de fases em misturas de pol\u00edmeros, uma vez que detecta de forma fi\u00e1vel transi\u00e7\u00f5es t\u00e9rmicas e eventos carater\u00edsticos no material (Balhara et al., 2021).
