O sistema utiliza a triangula\u00e7\u00e3o laser para registar altera\u00e7\u00f5es dimensionais microsc\u00f3picas com uma resolu\u00e7\u00e3o at\u00e9 \u00e0 gama dos nan\u00f3metros. Este m\u00e9todo elimina completamente os erros sistem\u00e1ticos causados pelo contacto mec\u00e2nico e permite que mesmo os materiais mais sens\u00edveis sejam analisados sem qualquer preju\u00edzo.  <\/p><p>A versatilidade do m\u00e9todo \u00e9 demonstrada pela sua compatibilidade com uma vasta gama de geometrias e tamanhos de amostras. Mesmo materiais com formas irregulares, baixa massa ou propriedades especiais de superf\u00edcie podem ser caracterizados de forma fi\u00e1vel (FunGlass, 2024). Algoritmos de avalia\u00e7\u00e3o modernos, como o m\u00e9todo das duas tangentes, ajustes n\u00e3o lineares ou m\u00e9todos anal\u00edticos diferenciais, permitem uma quantifica\u00e7\u00e3o precisa mesmo para transi\u00e7\u00f5es complexas (Linseis, 2024b). A uma taxa de aquecimento de 5 K\/min, a altera\u00e7\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica no comprimento foi determinada na gama de temperaturas at\u00e9 500 \u00b0C. Os valores medidos concordam muito bem com os dados da literatura; o desvio est\u00e1 na gama de apenas 0,03 \u00b5m a 0,26 \u00b5m em v\u00e1rios pontos de temperatura. Esta alta resolu\u00e7\u00e3o revela-se decisiva na carateriza\u00e7\u00e3o de transi\u00e7\u00f5es v\u00edtreas multif\u00e1sicas ou graduais em vidros modernos de alta tecnologia. <\/p><p>Al\u00e9m disso, o m\u00e9todo permite a investiga\u00e7\u00e3o detalhada de outros fen\u00f3menos, como a temperatura fict\u00edcia, o relaxamento estrutural, a expans\u00e3o anisotr\u00f3pica, bem como as transforma\u00e7\u00f5es revers\u00edveis e irrevers\u00edveis (FunGlass, 2024).
