Esta orienta\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 particularmente pronunciada em m\u00e9todos de processamento r\u00e1pido e com componentes de paredes finas ou alongadas.  <\/p><p>As propriedades mec\u00e2nicas podem ser aumentadas localmente atrav\u00e9s da orienta\u00e7\u00e3o molecular direcionada ou relacionada com o processo. A resist\u00eancia \u00e0 tra\u00e7\u00e3o, \u00e0 flex\u00e3o e ao impacto, em particular, s\u00e3o influenciadas positivamente ao longo da orienta\u00e7\u00e3o. As macromol\u00e9culas orientadas tamb\u00e9m garantem uma melhor estabilidade dimensional e uma menor deforma\u00e7\u00e3o do material sob carga, o que \u00e9 de import\u00e2ncia crucial para pe\u00e7as de precis\u00e3o. Os efeitos positivos da orienta\u00e7\u00e3o das mol\u00e9culas incluem o aumento da resist\u00eancia mec\u00e2nica e da rigidez na dire\u00e7\u00e3o da orienta\u00e7\u00e3o, a melhoria da estabilidade dimensional e da fidelidade da forma, a qualidade e transpar\u00eancia uniformes da superf\u00edcie e a otimiza\u00e7\u00e3o das propriedades de amortecimento mec\u00e2nico.   <\/p><p>No entanto, uma orienta\u00e7\u00e3o excessiva pode levar ao desenvolvimento de tens\u00f5es internas, que podem causar fissuras por tens\u00e3o sob tens\u00e3o qu\u00edmica.
