(PPS)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ec24aa1 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"ec24aa1\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><strong>O sulfureto de polifenileno (PPS)<\/strong> \u00e9 um pol\u00edmero semi-cristalino, parcialmente arom\u00e1tico, com uma estrutura \u00fanica de an\u00e9is de benzeno ligados por \u00e1tomos de enxofre (Aoki et al., 2023). Esta arquitetura molecular especial confere ao material propriedades extraordin\u00e1rias que o tornam um dos pl\u00e1sticos de alto desempenho mais importantes da ind\u00fastria moderna. <\/p><p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/pt-pt\/?p=103220\"><strong>cristalinidade<\/strong> <\/a>do PPS desempenha um papel decisivo no seu desempenho. Os graus t\u00edpicos de cristalinidade situam-se entre 30-50%, dependendo do processamento, das cargas e dos aditivos (Aoki et al., 2023). A <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/pt-pt\/?p=103212\">temperatura de transi\u00e7\u00e3o v\u00edtrea<\/a> \u00e9 de cerca de 85-88 \u00b0C<\/strong> (Aoki et al., 2023). Este intervalo significa que o PPS \u00e9 duro e dimensionalmente est\u00e1vel \u00e0 temperatura ambiente, mas torna-se cada vez mais el\u00e1stico acima da temperatura de transi\u00e7\u00e3o v\u00edtrea. Dependendo da aplica\u00e7\u00e3o, este facto pode ser vantajoso ou limitativo: O PPS \u00e9 menos adequado para componentes que est\u00e3o permanentemente em contacto com meios quentes &#8211; tais como \u00e1gua ou vapor &#8211; enquanto a sua elevada estabilidade dimensional e resist\u00eancia t\u00e9rmica o tornam ideal para ambientes el\u00e9ctricos, mec\u00e2nicos e quimicamente tensos.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9255b84 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"9255b84\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Estabilidade t\u00e9rmica e resist\u00eancia \u00e0 temperatura<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-84366e7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"84366e7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/pt-pt\/?p=103241\">\n  <strong>estabilidade t\u00e9rmica<\/strong>\n<\/a> do PPS \u00e9 um dos seus pontos de venda \u00fanicos mais importantes e torna-o um material preferido para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es a altas temperaturas. Esta estabilidade de temperatura excecional permite que o PPS seja utilizado em \u00e1reas extremas onde outros pl\u00e1sticos falhariam. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ee2244d elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"ee2244d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Resist\u00eancia qu\u00edmica e diversidade de materiais<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8787d4d elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"8787d4d\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>O PPS oferece uma excelente resist\u00eancia a subst\u00e2ncias quimicamente agressivas, como \u00e1cidos, \u00e1lcalis, solventes e meios oxidantes &#8211; mesmo a temperaturas superiores a 200 \u00b0C (Aoki et al., 2023). O pl\u00e1stico \u00e9 largamente inerte \u00e0 radia\u00e7\u00e3o UV e tem uma absor\u00e7\u00e3o de \u00e1gua muito baixa, inferior a 0,1 por cento, o que sublinha claramente a sua estabilidade dimensional e de dimens\u00e3o, mesmo em condi\u00e7\u00f5es ambientais extremas. <\/p><p>Para al\u00e9m do PPS homopol\u00edmero, existem in\u00fameras variantes que s\u00e3o especificamente adaptadas a requisitos especiais. Estas incluem copol\u00edmeros com unidades arom\u00e1ticas ou sulfonas adicionais, bem como compostos de PPS refor\u00e7ados com fibra de vidro, que permitem uma capacidade de carga mec\u00e2nica particularmente elevada. As fibras de carbono ou minerais s\u00e3o tamb\u00e9m utilizadas para aplica\u00e7\u00f5es tribol\u00f3gicas, enquanto as membranas de fibra de PPS s\u00e3o utilizadas em processos de filtragem especiais. Tamb\u00e9m est\u00e3o dispon\u00edveis produtos comerciais com diferentes graus de pureza e diferentes teores de carga.   <\/p><p>A capacidade de suporte de carga mec\u00e2nica pode ser significativamente aumentada atrav\u00e9s da utiliza\u00e7\u00e3o de cargas, sendo o PPS refor\u00e7ado com fibra de vidro o padr\u00e3o para componentes sujeitos a grandes tens\u00f5es (Aoki et al., 2023).
