A essa temperatura, o material sofre uma mudan\u00e7a significativa em suas propriedades mec\u00e2nicas: ele se torna mais macio e flex\u00edvel.  <\/p><p>A <strong>temperatura de transi\u00e7\u00e3o v\u00edtrea<\/strong> tamb\u00e9m pode ser determinada utilizando um <strong>chip DSC<\/strong>. As abra\u00e7adeiras s\u00e3o um exemplo not\u00e1vel de uma aplica\u00e7\u00e3o que utiliza esta mudan\u00e7a. Elas n\u00e3o s\u00f3 mant\u00eam a sua forma a v\u00e1rias temperaturas, como tamb\u00e9m conservam uma certa elasticidade.
