Estes materiais reduzem significativamente o risco de difus\u00e3o e aumentam a seguran\u00e7a. No entanto, a maioria dos hidretos met\u00e1licos tem rela\u00e7\u00f5es metal-hidrog\u00e9nio desfavor\u00e1veis e taxas de absor\u00e7\u00e3o e liberta\u00e7\u00e3o lentas. Uma exce\u00e7\u00e3o not\u00e1vel \u00e9 o sistema de hidreto met\u00e1lico de n\u00edquel, que j\u00e1 ganhou grande aceita\u00e7\u00e3o para o armazenamento de hidrog\u00e9nio devido \u00e0 sua aplica\u00e7\u00e3o bem sucedida na tecnologia de baterias.   <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-27357b7 elementor-widget elementor-widget-spacer\" data-id=\"27357b7\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"spacer.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-spacer-inner\"><\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-8c17161 elementor-widget elementor-widget-heading\" data-id=\"8c17161\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"heading.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<h2 class=\"elementor-heading-title elementor-size-default\">Tecnologia LOHC: O avan\u00e7o no armazenamento de l\u00edquidos<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-1108fcc elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"1108fcc\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Os transportadores l\u00edquidos de hidrog\u00e9nio org\u00e2nico (LOHC), como o dibenziltolueno (DBT), est\u00e3o a revolucionar o armazenamento de hidrog\u00e9nio. Este l\u00edquido n\u00e3o t\u00f3xico e retardador de chama pode absorver hidrog\u00e9nio com um catalisador de r\u00f3dio em condi\u00e7\u00f5es moderadas de 200\u00b0C e 5 bar. O per\u00f3xido-DBT resultante armazena 600 litros de hidrog\u00e9nio gasoso por litro de l\u00edquido, o que corresponde a uma impressionante capacidade de armazenamento de 2 kWh\/kg. A liberta\u00e7\u00e3o tem lugar a 300\u00b0C e a uma press\u00e3o reduzida. O exemplo mais conhecido \u00e9 a s\u00edntese de Haber-Bosch, que produz mais de 200 mil milh\u00f5es de toneladas de amon\u00edaco por ano. Esta rea\u00e7\u00e3o ocorre a 450\u00b0C e 200 bar, utilizando catalisadores de ferro, e atinge um conte\u00fado energ\u00e9tico de 5,2 kWh\/kg, o que corresponde a uma efici\u00eancia de 63%. Embora o amon\u00edaco seja mais f\u00e1cil de manusear do que o hidrog\u00e9nio gasoso, tem as desvantagens da toxicidade e da corrosividade.
