Nas subst\u00e2ncias cristalinas, as part\u00edculas est\u00e3o dispostas a intervalos regulares e num padr\u00e3o fixo.  <br><br>Enquanto os pol\u00edmeros reticulados (dur\u00f3meros, elast\u00f3meros termoendurec\u00edveis) t\u00eam sempre uma estrutura amorfa, podem formar-se cristais nos pol\u00edmeros termopl\u00e1sticos. Na maioria dos casos, as \u00e1reas com uma estrutura cristalina e as \u00e1reas com uma estrutura amorfa formam-se lado a lado. Isto resulta em pl\u00e1sticos semi-cristalinos.  <br><br><strong>O grau de cristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o depende das condi\u00e7\u00f5es em que os pl\u00e1sticos solidificam. Como resultado, a estabilidade dimensional e a resist\u00eancia ao desgaste mec\u00e2nico tamb\u00e9m melhoram. Ao mesmo tempo, o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/startseite\/messgroessen\/laengenausdehnungskoeffizient\/\">\n  <strong>coeficiente de expans\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica<\/strong>\n<\/a> e a capacidade de penetra\u00e7\u00e3o de l\u00edquidos e gases diminuem. Estas propriedades alargam a gama de aplica\u00e7\u00f5es dos pol\u00edmeros semi-cristalinos.<br>O calor \u00e9 libertado durante a cristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o. Esta entalpia de cristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o pode ser medida por <g id=\"gid_6\">\n  <g id=\"gid_7\">calorimetria de varrimento diferencial (DSC)<\/g>\n<\/g> e comparada com valores conhecidos. Ao faz\u00ea-lo, organizam-se em estruturas paralelas, que s\u00e3o constitu\u00eddas por <g id=\"gid_0\">uma macromol\u00e9cula dobrada &#8211; semelhante a uma mangueira de inc\u00eandio ou a um cabo colocado em ba\u00edas<\/g>. Em alguns pol\u00edmeros, cadeias de mol\u00e9culas diferentes tamb\u00e9m se alinham paralelamente umas \u00e0s outras.    <strong>A forma\u00e7\u00e3o de tais estruturas \u00e9 conhecida como cristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o.<\/strong><\/p><p> <\/p><p>A forma\u00e7\u00e3o da estrutura cristalina requer um ponto de partida, que \u00e9 referido como um n\u00facleo de cristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o. As mais pequenas quantidades de pol\u00edmeros j\u00e1 cristalinos ou mesmo mol\u00e9culas estranhas, como o quartzo, podem servir como tal n\u00facleo. O cristal cresce \u00e0 volta deste n\u00facleo at\u00e9 encontrar outros cristais ou \u00e1reas de material amorfo solidificado. Ao adicionar n\u00facleos de cristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0 fus\u00e3o ou solu\u00e7\u00e3o, o n\u00famero e, por conseguinte, tamb\u00e9m o tamanho dos cristais podem ser influenciados.   <\/p><p><strong>As subst\u00e2ncias que s\u00e3o adequadas como n\u00facleos de cristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o dependem do sistema de pol\u00edmero individual e devem ser determinadas experimentalmente.<\/strong>  O tempo necess\u00e1rio para o crescimento dos cristais e o intervalo de temperatura \u00f3timo tamb\u00e9m s\u00e3o determinados por experi\u00eancias. Este processo ocorre involuntariamente quando a temperatura dos materiais cristalinos ou semi-cristalinos atinge um determinado valor ou quando os pol\u00edmeros s\u00e3o deformados por for\u00e7as mec\u00e2nicas externas. Tamb\u00e9m est\u00e1 relacionado com o aumento ou diminui\u00e7\u00e3o da mobilidade das part\u00edculas. A recristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o pode ser utilizada de forma direcionada para obter as propriedades necess\u00e1rias do material. As fibras e pel\u00edculas sint\u00e9ticas s\u00e3o produzidas por extrus\u00e3o de pol\u00edmeros aquecidos. <strong>O material \u00e9 pressionado atrav\u00e9s de bicos ou aberturas semelhantes sob alta press\u00e3o e adquire a sua forma.<\/strong>  <\/p><p> <\/p><p><strong>Em seguida, s\u00e3o aplicadas for\u00e7as de tra\u00e7\u00e3o, que fazem com que as cadeias moleculares se estiquem e se organizem em paralelo.<\/strong>  Os corpos ocos (recipientes, garrafas) podem ser produzidos a partir de pe\u00e7as em bruto que s\u00e3o expandidas por uma sobrepress\u00e3o no interior. No processo, elas se reorganizam e podem formar estruturas cristalinas.  <\/p><p><strong>Um pr\u00e9-requisito para a cristaliza\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 manter a temperatura \u00f3ptima e o tempo necess\u00e1rio para o crescimento dos cristais.
