Os resultados da medi\u00e7\u00e3o s\u00e3o utilizados para calcular o <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/startseite\/messgroessen\/laengenausdehnungskoeffizient\/\">\n  <strong>coeficiente de expans\u00e3o t\u00e9rmica<\/strong>\n<\/a> (CTE = Coeficiente de Expans\u00e3o T\u00e9rmica) \u00e9 calculado a partir dos resultados da medi\u00e7\u00e3o. Este par\u00e2metro do material indica a altera\u00e7\u00e3o relativa no comprimento da amostra com uma altera\u00e7\u00e3o de temperatura por Kelvin na unidade de medida [1\/K].<br>Os valores do CTE s\u00e3o, portanto, dependentes da temperatura e est\u00e3o na gama de alguns milion\u00e9simos por Kelvin para materiais s\u00f3lidos. As altera\u00e7\u00f5es absolutas esperadas no comprimento das amostras s\u00e3o correspondentemente pequenas. Um dilat\u00f3metro de haste \u00e9 muito adequado para subst\u00e2ncias s\u00f3lidas que mant\u00eam o seu estado agregado dentro da gama de temperaturas pretendida. <\/p><p>O comportamento dos materiais aquecidos at\u00e9 ao seu ponto de amolecimento ou de fus\u00e3o pode ser observado opticamente atrav\u00e9s de um <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/messgeraete\/dilatometer\/dil-l74-erhitzungsmikroskop\/\">\n  <strong>microsc\u00f3pio de aquecimento<\/strong>\n<\/a> microsc\u00f3pio de aquecimento. Est\u00e1 firmemente ligada a uma haste (\u00eambolo amarelo fino, \u00e0 frente da amostra vermelha), que transmite a altera\u00e7\u00e3o do comprimento da amostra para registar o valor medido. <\/p><p>A\u00ed, a altera\u00e7\u00e3o absoluta do comprimento de todo o sistema \u00e9 determinada e convertida para os valores CTE da amostra de material, utilizando os dados conhecidos do sistema de medi\u00e7\u00e3o e as dimens\u00f5es da amostra.
