processo de constru\u00e7\u00e3o de estruturas complexas camada a camada. Permite a constru\u00e7\u00e3o r\u00e1pida e com economia de recursos de geometrias que anteriormente s\u00f3 podiam ser visualizadas como modelos 3D e, portanto, representa uma alternativa aos processos subtractivos tradicionais. Embora a AM venha a desempenhar um papel central na Ind\u00fastria 5.0, tem de enfrentar desvios de fabrico significativos, como a elevada rugosidade da superf\u00edcie, a porosidade, os efeitos de retra\u00e7\u00e3o e os defeitos de ades\u00e3o das camadas. Uma forma de os ultrapassar \u00e9 o controlo do processo, no qual a an\u00e1lise t\u00e9rmica desempenha um papel fundamental.
