entalpia?<\/h3><p>A entalpia de rea\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e9 a varia\u00e7\u00e3o de entalpia de uma amostra durante uma rea\u00e7\u00e3o qu\u00edmica. As reac\u00e7\u00f5es em que a energia \u00e9 libertada sob a forma de calor s\u00e3o designadas por exot\u00e9rmicas. As reac\u00e7\u00f5es em que a energia tem de ser fornecida s\u00e3o designadas por endot\u00e9rmicas.  <\/p><p>As entalpias de fus\u00e3o s\u00e3o um exemplo simples de processos endot\u00e9rmicos, uma vez que \u00e9 normalmente necess\u00e1rio aplicar calor a um sistema para quebrar a sua estrutura cristalina s\u00f3lida e convert\u00ea-lo numa fase l\u00edquida com mol\u00e9culas que se podem mover livremente umas em rela\u00e7\u00e3o \u00e0s outras. Um exemplo de uma rea\u00e7\u00e3o exot\u00e9rmica \u00e9 um simples processo de combust\u00e3o em que uma subst\u00e2ncia reage com o oxig\u00e9nio, libertando energia.
