Na an\u00e1lise t\u00e9rmica, as amostras s\u00e3o geralmente fornecidas como compostos gasosos, por exemplo, por evapora\u00e7\u00e3o de um material de amostra aquecido. Os espectros resultantes s\u00e3o utilizados para determinar a assinatura elementar ou isot\u00f3pica de uma amostra, as massas de part\u00edculas e mol\u00e9culas e para elucidar as estruturas qu\u00edmicas das mol\u00e9culas. Com este m\u00e9todo, \u00e9 poss\u00edvel quantificar com precis\u00e3o as emiss\u00f5es de gases.  <\/p><p><strong>MS-Sniffer<\/strong><\/p><p>Devido \u00e0 press\u00e3o de entrada limitada do MS, a amostra de g\u00e1s deve ser recolhida ap\u00f3s um regulador de press\u00e3o (\u00e0 press\u00e3o ambiente). Por conseguinte, s\u00f3 podem ser analisadas as subst\u00e2ncias que podem passar atrav\u00e9s do coletor de frio. <\/p><p>Os gases das amostras s\u00e3o canalizados diretamente para o analisador QMS atrav\u00e9s de uma abertura muito pequena. Esta pequena abertura (ou bocal) reduz a press\u00e3o no recipiente pressurizado para a press\u00e3o de entrada admiss\u00edvel para o QMS. Os componentes da mat\u00e9ria-prima do cimento s\u00e3o Mistura de componentes cer\u00e2micos (gesso, carbonato de c\u00e1lcio, etc.) e componentes org\u00e2nicos.\n\n<strong>An\u00e1lise com STA e QMS<\/strong>\n\nA imagem mostra a termogravimetria simult\u00e2nea (TGA) em combina\u00e7\u00e3o com a calorimetria diferencial de varrimento (DSC) e a espetroscopia de massa (MS). A espetrometria de massa permite identificar os gases que sa\u00edram do material. A espetrometria de massa mostra picos de H<sub>2<\/sub>O a baixas temperaturas, muito provavelmente provenientes do gesso. Os picos de DSC e o sinal do espetr\u00f3metro de massa entre ~ 300 \u00b0C &#8211; 400 \u00b0C indicam a decomposi\u00e7\u00e3o de componentes org\u00e2nicos.
