Umieszczony mi\u0119dzy dwiema po\u0142\u00f3wkami pr\u00f3bki, pasek emituje sta\u0142y pr\u0105d grzewczy podczas pomiaru, dzi\u0119ki czemu r\u00f3wnie\u017c sam si\u0119 nagrzewa. Wzrost temperatury w czasie jest miar\u0105 wspomnianych w\u0142a\u015bciwo\u015bci transportu termicznego.  <\/p><p>Podczas gdy <strong>metoda THW wykorzystuje tylko pojedynczy przew\u00f3d grzej<\/strong> ny, <strong>metoda THB wykorzystuje cztery paski grzejne<\/strong> (patrz rys. 1), kt\u00f3re s\u0105 po\u0142\u0105czone w celu utworzenia mostka Wheatstone&#8217;a. Oznacza to, \u017ce przed pomiarem nie jest konieczna regulacja zera. <\/p><p>Aby skompensowa\u0107 efekt kraw\u0119dziowy, meandruj\u0105ce paski grzejne s\u0105 podzielone na dwa segmenty o r\u00f3\u017cnych d\u0142ugo\u015bciach (rys. 2). Tworzy to dwa oddzielone galwanicznie rezystory, kt\u00f3re s\u0105 jednak po\u0142\u0105czone termicznie. Je\u015bli spadek napi\u0119cia kr\u00f3tkiego segmentu zostanie odj\u0119ty od d\u0142ugiego segmentu, uzyskany zostanie sygna\u0142 pomiarowy wzd\u0142u\u017c efektywnej d\u0142ugo\u015bci
