In precedenza, queste catene molecolari erano disordinate in uno stato amorfo. <\/p><p>Oltre ai <strong>nuclei di cristallizzazione<\/strong>, la cristallizzazione richiede una fusione e una temperatura sufficientemente elevata. Pi\u00f9 lento \u00e8 il raffreddamento, meglio si pu\u00f2 rilevare la cristallizzazione. La <strong>ricristallizzazione<\/strong> pu\u00f2 avvenire quando il materiale viene nuovamente riscaldato. <strong>Questa<\/strong> <strong>ricristallizzazione,<\/strong> <strong>nota<\/strong> <strong>anche<\/strong> <strong>come<\/strong> <strong>cristallizzazione a freddo<\/strong>, avviene tra la temperatura di transizione vetrosa e la fusione del polimero. <\/p><p>La causa di questa reazione esotermica \u00e8 l&#8217;ulteriore orientamento delle catene come risultato del rammollimento del materiale dopo il punto di vetro. Il rammollimento permette alle catene molecolari di vibrare meglio e di orientarsi successivamente in cristalli. <strong>Si possono<\/strong> <strong>formare<\/strong> <strong>nuovi<\/strong> <strong>nuclei di cristallizzazione<\/strong> <strong>e i<\/strong> <strong>grani cristallini<\/strong> <strong>esistenti<\/strong> <strong>possono crescere.<\/strong> <strong>cristallizzazione<\/strong> <strong>si<\/strong> <strong>manifesta<\/strong> <strong>come un<\/strong> <strong>picco<\/strong> <strong>esotermico<\/strong> <strong>.<\/strong> La misurazione DSC permette di determinare il grado di cristallinit\u00e0 K. <strong>Cristallinit\u00e0,<\/strong> <strong>grado di cristallizzazione<\/strong> e <strong>grado di cristallinit\u00e0<\/strong> sono utilizzati come sinonimi nella letteratura tecnica e indicano <strong>la<\/strong> <strong>percentuale<\/strong> <strong>di<\/strong> <strong>polimero<\/strong> <strong>cristallino<\/strong>.<\/p><p>In pratica, i polimeri completamente cristallini sono di scarsa importanza, in quanto possono essere prodotti solo tramite una complessa ricottura <strong>appena<\/strong> <strong>al di sotto<\/strong> <strong>della<\/strong> <strong>temperatura di fusione<\/strong>.  <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div Un <strong>secondo<\/strong> processo di <strong>riscaldamento<\/strong> pu\u00f2 quindi essere utilizzato per determinare in che misura la cristallinit\u00e0 di questo campione \u00e8 stata influenzata dalla storia termica e meccanica. <strong>Se<\/strong> <strong>durante il processo di riscaldamento<\/strong> <strong>si verifica<\/strong> <strong>un<\/strong> <strong>picco di ricristallizzazione<\/strong>, questo viene sottratto dall&#8217;entalpia di fusione e il risultato viene diviso per il corrispondente valore di letteratura.
