data-auto-event-observed=\"true\"><b>dilatometria<\/b><\/a><\/b> (DIL) \u00e8 una tecnica in cui si misura la variazione dimensionale (la lunghezza o il volume) di un materiale sottoposto a uno stress trascurabile in funzione della temperatura (ad esempio espansione o contrazione) mentre il materiale \u00e8 sottoposto ad un programma di temperatura controllata in un&#8217;atmosfera specifica.<\/p><p>Nel determinare la variazione dimensionale, si distingue tra <strong>coefficienti di espansione lineare<\/strong> e <strong>coefficienti di espansione lineare viene utilizzato come parametro per descrivere la variazione di lunghezza. Il campione viene posizionato su un portacampioni inserito in un forno. Un&#8217;asta di spinta dello stesso materiale del portacampioni (vetro di quarzo, ossido di alluminio) trasferisce l&#8217;espansione termica del campione a un trasduttore di spostamento, che misura lo spostamento. Lo spostamento viene misurato in forma analogica o digitale.<\/p><p>Le dimensioni geometriche dei materiali cambiano al variare della temperatura. Questo fenomeno pu\u00f2 essere descritto con il seguente coefficiente di espansione termica lineare (CTE):<\/p><p><strong>CTE lineare = \u0394<\/strong><strong>L-1\/\u0394<\/strong><strong>T-1\/L<\/strong><\/p><p>dove \u0394L rappresenta la variazione di lunghezza causata da una variazione di temperatura (\u0394T) nella lunghezza (L) del campione.<\/p><p>Il trasduttore di spostamento \u00e8 saldamente collegato al riferimento. Poich\u00e9 il riferimento e l&#8217;asta di spinta si estendono allo stesso modo durante il riscaldamento, l&#8217;espansione del campione viene misurata rispetto al materiale di riferimento. La determinazione termomeccanica senza contatto consente anche di determinare il punto di rammollimento e le temperature di fusione dei materiali.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Come funziona la dilatometria ottica in un dispositivo di misurazione?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Nell&#8217;analisi termo-ottica con un dilatometro dotato di fotocamera, il campione viene irradiato con la luce da un lato e le ombre vengono registrate sull&#8217;altro lato.
