per ottenere uno spettro infrarosso dell&#8217;assorbimento di un solido, un liquido o un gas. Grazie alle interazioni specifiche dei legami molecolari con la luce infrarossa, questi spettri di assorbimento possono identificare diverse classi di composti. Uno spettrometro FTIR raccoglie simultaneamente i dati spettrali su un ampio intervallo spettrale, tipicamente tra 100 e 10000 cm<sup>-1<\/sup>, il che offre un vantaggio significativo rispetto a uno spettrometro dispersivo, che misura l&#8217;intensit\u00e0 su un ristretto intervallo di lunghezze d&#8217;onda alla volta. La prima fase mostra l&#8217;evoluzione dell&#8217;acqua dal CaSO<sub>4<\/sub> diidrato al CaSO<sub>4<\/sub> emiidrato. La seconda fase \u00e8 la conversione del CaSO<sub>4<\/sub> emiidrato in CaSO<sub>4<\/sub> anidrite. L&#8217;acqua risultante pu\u00f2 essere verificata anche tramite analisi FTIR. Tra i 600\u00b0C e i 750\u00b0C, i carbonati si decompongono formando CO<sub>2<\/sub>.
