<sub>TiH2<\/sub><\/strong><\/p><p>L&#8217;idruro di titanio \u00e8 una fonte di idrogeno spesso utilizzata per il rilascio controllato di idrogeno in varie reazioni. Da un lato, pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato come catalizzatore nella chimica dei liquidi in situ come fonte di idrogeno, dall&#8217;altro pu\u00f2 essere utilizzato nelle batterie o nelle celle a combustibile per il rilascio controllato di idrogeno. Per avere un&#8217;idea della quantit\u00e0 di idrogeno rilasciata a quale temperatura, \u00e8 importante conoscere il comportamento di decomposizione in funzione della temperatura e la quantit\u00e0 di calore rilasciata, che pu\u00f2 essere monitorata tramite l&#8217;analisi termica simultanea (STA).  <\/p><p>In questa misurazione STA \u00e8 stato monitorato il rilascio di idrogeno da parte dell&#8217;idruro di titanio. I segnali TG e DSC sono stati misurati dalla temperatura ambiente a 800 \u00b0C, mentre il campione veniva riscaldato linearmente a 10 K\/min in un&#8217;atmosfera di argon. Tra 300 \u00b0C e 600 \u00b0C si verifica una perdita di massa in due fasi per un totale del 2,3%, il che significa che l&#8217;intera quantit\u00e0 di idrogeno legato viene rilasciata in questo processo.
