l&rsquo;humidit\u00e9 relative dans l&rsquo;analyse thermique<\/strong><\/h3><p>Lorsque l&rsquo;eau est chauff\u00e9e \u00e0 son point d&rsquo;\u00e9bullition ou au-del\u00e0, elle passe de l&rsquo;\u00e9tat liquide \u00e0 l&rsquo;\u00e9tat gazeux. Elle se pr\u00e9sente alors sous forme de vapeur (d&rsquo;eau). Lorsque cette vapeur est introduite dans une chambre de r\u00e9action ou un appareil, on parle d&rsquo;application de vapeur d&rsquo;eau.<\/p><p>En revanche, tout gaz peut transporter et contenir une certaine quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;eau \u00e0 une temp\u00e9rature donn\u00e9e. C&rsquo;est ce que l&rsquo;on appelle l&rsquo;humidit\u00e9.<\/p><h3><strong>Qu&rsquo;est-ce que le taux d&rsquo;humidit\u00e9 ?<\/strong><\/h3><p>Si l&rsquo;on prend l&rsquo;exemple de l&rsquo;air, on constate que m\u00eame en dessous du point d&rsquo;\u00e9bullition de l&rsquo;eau, l&rsquo;air contient toujours une certaine quantit\u00e9 d&rsquo;eau, appel\u00e9e taux d&rsquo;humidit\u00e9 ou <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/fr\/produits\/dispositifs-complementaires-et-accessoires\/l40-relative-humidity\/\"><b>humidit\u00e9 relative. <\/b><\/a><\/p><h3><strong>Comment peut-on contr\u00f4ler la concentration de vapeur d\u2019eau dans un gaz utilis\u00e9 pour l\u2019analyse thermique ?<\/strong><\/h3><p>Contrairement \u00e0 l&rsquo;humidit\u00e9 relative, au-dessus du point d&rsquo;\u00e9bullition d\u00e9pendant de la pression, qui est de 100\u00b0C au niveau de la mer, l&rsquo;eau n&rsquo;est pr\u00e9sente que dans sa phase gazeuse, sous forme de vapeur d&rsquo;eau. En m\u00e9langeant de la vapeur d&rsquo;eau, produite dans un g\u00e9n\u00e9rateur de vapeur d&rsquo;eau, avec un gaz porteur comme l&rsquo;air, l&rsquo;azote ou l&rsquo;h\u00e9lium, il est possible <strong>de r\u00e9gler de mani\u00e8re variable<\/strong> la concentration (en % vol., % poids ou ppm) <strong>de la vapeur d&rsquo;eau dans le gaz de mesure dans nos analyseurs.<\/strong><\/p><p>En outre, l&rsquo;atmosph\u00e8re gazeuse dans l&rsquo;appareil peut \u00eatre statique ou dynamique, selon l&rsquo;application. Les \u00e9tudes typiques pour les atmosph\u00e8res de vapeur d&rsquo;eau dynamiques comprennent le chauffage isotherme d&rsquo;un \u00e9chantillon et le dosage ult\u00e9rieur d&rsquo;une concentration d\u00e9finie de vapeur d&rsquo;eau pour initier une r\u00e9action. Si la pression devient trop \u00e9lev\u00e9e, l&rsquo;eau se condense. A des temp\u00e9ratures ou des pressions plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es, au-dessus du point critique, la densit\u00e9 de l&rsquo;eau liquide est aussi grande que celle de l&rsquo;eau gazeuse, de sorte qu&rsquo;elle ne peut plus se condenser. L&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon de charbon a \u00e9t\u00e9 chauff\u00e9 sous atmosph\u00e8re d&rsquo;azote \u00e0 une pression de 50 bars jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 un plateau isotherme (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/fr\/produits\/tga-thermogravimetry\/\">TGA haute pression &#8211; thermobalance<\/a>). Le signal de masse indique la perte de composants volatils entre 20 et 40 minutes. Apr\u00e8s l&rsquo;ajout de vapeur d&rsquo;eau, le charbon a \u00e9t\u00e9 gaz\u00e9ifi\u00e9 et presque enti\u00e8rement consomm\u00e9 apr\u00e8s 150 minutes, produisant H<sub>2<\/sub>, CO, CH<sub>3<\/sub>OH et d&rsquo;autres gaz r\u00e9actifs utiles, comme le montre la courbe de perte de masse rouge. L&rsquo;ensemble du processus peut \u00eatre d\u00e9crit comme suit : Le carbone r\u00e9agit avec la vapeur d&rsquo;eau pour former un m\u00e9lange de monoxyde de carbone et d&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne. Le monoxyde de carbone ainsi produit peut r\u00e9agir avec une deuxi\u00e8me mol\u00e9cule d&rsquo;eau pour former du dioxyde de carbone et de l&rsquo;hydrog\u00e8ne suppl\u00e9mentaire et,
