Il se comporte comme un solide et pr\u00e9sente des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s \u00e9lastiques, bien qu&rsquo;il soit principalement compos\u00e9 de liquide. Les gels se forment par la r\u00e9ticulation de polym\u00e8res ou de particules collo\u00efdales, qui constituent un r\u00e9seau tridimensionnel renfermant le liquide.  <\/p><p>Les gels font partie des <strong>fluides non newtoniens<\/strong>, ce qui signifie que leurs propri\u00e9t\u00e9s d&rsquo;\u00e9coulement ne suivent pas les lois de la viscosit\u00e9 newtonienne classique. Contrairement aux fluides newtoniens, dont la viscosit\u00e9 reste constante, les fluides non newtoniens, tels que les gels, r\u00e9agissent diff\u00e9remment aux forces de cisaillement. Leur viscosit\u00e9 peut varier sous l\u2019effet d\u2019une contrainte m\u00e9canique, telle que la pression ou l\u2019\u00e9tirement. Il en r\u00e9sulte que les gels pr\u00e9sentent des propri\u00e9t\u00e9s visqueuses lors d\u2019une d\u00e9formation lente, mais se comportent plut\u00f4t comme des solides ou des mat\u00e9riaux \u00e9lastiques en cas de contrainte rapide ou intense.   <\/p><p>La liaison dans la partie liquide lui conf\u00e8re son caract\u00e8re macroscopiquement \u00ab\u00a0solide\u00a0\u00bb. Il existe diff\u00e9rents types et formes de gels, souvent utilis\u00e9s dans les produits pharmaceutiques ou comme adh\u00e9sifs. <\/p><p>Une variante sp\u00e9ciale des gels est ce que l&rsquo;on appelle les x\u00e9rogels, dont les agents gonflants sont g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement retir\u00e9s. Le gel de silice s\u00e9ch\u00e9 ou la g\u00e9latine sont des exemples de x\u00e9rogels. <\/p><p>Les gels peuvent facilement \u00eatre mesur\u00e9s par <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/fr\/methodes-danalyse-thermique\/calorimetrie-differentielle-a-balayage\/\"><strong>Calorim\u00e9trie diff\u00e9rentielle<\/strong><\/a> (en anglais : Differential Scanning Calorimetry &#8211; DSC), comme c&rsquo;est souvent le cas dans le contr\u00f4le d&rsquo;aluminium en matrice de gel, chauff\u00e9es \u00e0 une vitesse de chauffage lin\u00e9aire de 10 K\/min sous atmosph\u00e8re d&rsquo;azote.<\/p><p>Le signal montre deux effets significatifs pendant la marche qui m\u00e9ritent d&rsquo;\u00eatre examin\u00e9s de plus pr\u00e8s :<br \/>Dans la plage jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 120 \u00b0C, il y a une perte d&rsquo;eau due \u00e0 l&rsquo;augmentation de la temp\u00e9rature caus\u00e9e par la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/fr\/proprietes\/changement-de-masse\/\"><strong>changement de masse<\/strong><\/a> de l&rsquo;\u00e9chantillon caus\u00e9e par <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/fr\/connaissance\/capacite-thermique-specifique\/\"><strong>changement de Cp<\/strong><\/a> entra\u00eene un d\u00e9placement de la ligne de base.<\/p><p>\u00c0 la suite de ce ph\u00e9nom\u00e8ne, il reste une matrice de gel s\u00e8che contenant des nanoparticules, appel\u00e9e \u00ab x\u00e9rogel \u00bb. \u00c0 environ 200 \u00b0C, il se produit une <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/fr\/connaissance\/analyse-des-changements-de-phase-avec-dsc\/\"><strong>transition de phase<\/strong><\/a> des nanoparticules, qui passent d\u2019une structure d\u2019oxyde d\u2019aluminium ordonn\u00e9e \u00e0 une structure amorphe, ce qui se traduit par un petit pic net. <\/p><p>Ces deux effets sont reproductibles et caract\u00e9risent bien le
