utilis\u00e9s dans les g\u00e9n\u00e9rateurs thermo\u00e9lectriques qui convertissent un gradient de temp\u00e9rature en une tension.<\/p><p>Pour caract\u00e9riser la performance d&rsquo;un mat\u00e9riau thermo\u00e9lectrique, on utilise ce que l&rsquo;on appelle la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/fr\/proprietes\/zt-figure-de-merite\/\"><strong>figure de m\u00e9rite (ZT)<\/strong><\/a> .<\/p><p>Pour calculer la figure de m\u00e9rite, il faut conna\u00eetre la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/fr\/proprietes\/conductivite-thermique\/\"><strong>conductivit\u00e9 thermique<\/strong><\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/fr\/proprietes\/resistivite-et-conductivite-electriques\/\"><strong>la conductivit\u00e9 \u00e9lectrique<\/strong><\/a> et le <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/fr\/proprietes\/coefficient-seebeck\/\"><strong>coefficient Seebeck<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p><p>Les couches minces m\u00e9talliques pr\u00e9sentent des conductivit\u00e9s thermiques et \u00e9lectriques inf\u00e9rieures \u00e0 celles des mat\u00e9riaux compacts correspondants, tandis que le coefficient Seebeck est moins affect\u00e9, ce qui se traduit par des valeurs ZT plus \u00e9lev\u00e9es.<\/p><p>Les couches minces m\u00e9talliques sont largement utilis\u00e9es dans l&rsquo;industrie, par exemple pour la fabrication de circuits de temp\u00e9rature de 225 K \u00e0 375 K sur une nanocouche d&rsquo;or (Au) d&rsquo;une \u00e9paisseur de 100 nm, obtenue par pulv\u00e9risation magn\u00e9tron DC.<\/p><p>La figure de m\u00e9rite ZT a \u00e9t\u00e9 calcul\u00e9e \u00e0 partir de ces param\u00e8tres.<\/p><p>La conductivit\u00e9 thermique et \u00e9lectrique mesur\u00e9e de cette couche mince \u00e9tait environ la moiti\u00e9 de celle du mat\u00e9riau compact.<\/p><p>Ces r\u00e9sultats, qui montrent une nette influence de l&rsquo;effet de taille, ont \u00e9t\u00e9 v\u00e9rifi\u00e9s et s&rsquo;accordaent parfaitement avec la
