(PCM)<\/strong><\/a> &#8211; tambi\u00e9n conocido como almacenamiento de calor latente (LHS), cambia su estado agregado de t\u00edpicamente s\u00f3lido a l\u00edquido y viceversa a una determinada temperatura de cambio de fase.<\/p><p>Durante la fusi\u00f3n o solidificaci\u00f3n, el material puede almacenar o liberar grandes cantidades de energ\u00eda, de modo que puede utilizarse para enfriar o calentar.<br \/>Las aplicaciones m\u00e1s comunes son las compresas fr\u00edas y las almohadillas t\u00e9rmicas.<br \/>Otros ejemplos de aplicaciones son el sector de la restauraci\u00f3n, la construcci\u00f3n, la automoci\u00f3n y la confecci\u00f3n.<br \/>Los PCM m\u00e1s conocidos son el agua o el acetato de sodio.<br \/>Este \u00faltimo se utiliza, por ejemplo, en las almohadillas t\u00e9rmicas antes mencionadas.<\/p><p>En el ejemplo que se muestra a continuaci\u00f3n, el an\u00e1lisis de la <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/es\/propiedades\/conductividad-termica\/\"><strong>conductividad t\u00e9rmica<\/strong><\/a> de dos hidratos de sal.<br \/>Ambos PCM eran l\u00edquidos a temperatura ba\u00f1o de l\u00edquido con temperatura controlada.<br \/>\nEl sensor THB\/B\/metal se suspendi\u00f3 en la muestra para realizar la medici\u00f3n. <\/p>\n<p>Los pasos de medici\u00f3n fueron -20 \u00b0C, -10 \u00b0C, 0 \u00b0C, +10 \u00b0C, 20 \u00b0C (temperatura ambiente) y +30 \u00b0C.<br \/>\nPor tanto, la medici\u00f3n se inici\u00f3 en el estado s\u00f3lido del material.<br \/>\nSe registraron y promediaron tres puntos de medici\u00f3n en cada nivel de temperatura.  <\/p>\n<p>La conductividad t\u00e9rmica de la muestra A aumenta ligeramente cuando se calienta a 0 \u00b0C, mientras que la muestra B muestra valores ligeramente decrecientes.<br \/>\nAmbas muestras pasan del estado s\u00f3lido al l\u00edquido en el intervalo de temperaturas de 0 \u00b0C a 10 \u00b0C, lo que tambi\u00e9n puede reconocerse claramente por el descenso de la conductividad t\u00e9rmica. <\/p>\n<p>La conductividad t\u00e9rmica de ambas muestras aumenta ligeramente al aumentar la temperatura.<br \/>\nEn general, la muestra B muestra una conductividad t\u00e9rmica mayor que la muestra A.
