Horizontal<\/strong> dilatometer series is the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/en\/wiki\/determination-of-the-cte-density\/\" data-auto-event-observed=\"true\"><b>CTE measurement<\/b><\/a> of ceramics, bricks, tiles, porcelain and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/en\/applications\/building-materials\/\" data-auto-event-observed=\"true\"><strong>building materials<\/strong><\/a>.<br \/>It is also widely used for quality control in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/en\/applications\/ceramics-and-glass-industry\/\" data-auto-event-observed=\"true\"><b>ceramics<\/b><\/a> and\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/en\/applications\/metals-alloys-industry\/\" data-auto-event-observed=\"true\"><b>metal industry<\/b><\/a>.<\/p><p>Thanks to the flexible interchangeable furnaces, the dilatometer covers a wide temperature range from RT to 1000\u00b0C, 1400\u00b0C and 1600\u00b0C.<br \/>The measuring systems are made of either quartz glass (up to 1100\u00b0C) or Al<sub>2<\/sub>O<sub>3<\/sub> (up to 1600\u00b0C).<\/p><p>The sensor is an LVDT (Linear Variable Differential Transformer) with maximum precision and infinitely variable resolution.<br \/>In combination with our LINSEIS software, the dilatometer offers an excellent solution for CTE measurements in standard quality control.<\/p><p>The following physical properties can be measured with the device: CTE, linear thermal expansion, sintering temperature, phase transformations, softening points, decomposition temperatures and glass transition
