The instrument was then cooled down to -60 \u00b0C where the experiment began. Under a linear heating rate of 2 K\/min, the sample was heated to 50\u00b0C and the expansion was recorded.<\/p>\n<p>As you can see in the scheme, there is a transition range between -10\u00b0C and 0\u00b0C where the expansion of the sample reaches a plateau. The CTE before and after this plateau shoes a significant different range which clearly indicates the different behavior of the elastomer before and after the&nbsp;<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.linseis.com\/en\/wiki\/glass-transition-temperature\/\" data-auto-event-observed=\"true\">glass transition point<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-ecd1f0e e-flex e-con-boxed
